Even after I uploaded them to my own google drive, I only get the very same error as above.
What is a .gsheet File and How do I Open it?
How do you open a .gsheet attachment??? After doing some research I discovered that a .ghsheet file is simply a text file that contains a url for the google spreadsheet. If you open the file in a text editor you will see something like this:
If you copy and paste that url into your browser you’ll get an error like this from google drive:

It turns out that you will need to ask the original sender to share the file with you (at your email address) or download it in Excel format and then attach it.
