I was just in Costco and had to do a double-take at how familiar HP has designed their laptops to look just like Apple’s MacBooks. HP’s bezel is a lot wider than a MacBook (maybe because it is a touch screen). The striking similarity that I think cannot be coincidence is the space between the keys and specifically the black keys with the aluminum casing (faux aluminum in the HP’s case).
It reminds me of this article I just read about how Google responded when they saw the iPhone for the first time:
