How to Transfer a Voicemail Message in Merlin Mail
Every once in a while you will get a voicemail that needs to be transferred to another person. Here is how to do it.
Step 1: Dial into the Merlin Mail voice mail system. Did you know that if you have a voice mail button programmed (top section of the phone), if you are at your own extension you can simply press # when it asks for your extension and save time?
Step 2: Listen to the voice mail message you want to transfer and then press 1 to respond.
Step 3: Press 2 to forward your comments along with the original message.
Step 4: Record your comments and then press 1.
Step 5: Press *# to approve your comments.
Step 6: Enter the extension you want the message transferred to, followed by #.
Step 7: Press *# to send.
