My Maytag Neptune Model: MAH5500BWQ front-load washer was leaking and I thought I had another repair to document but it turned out that the cold water hose had loosened itself on the back of the washer and was dripping.
The water line connections on the back of the Maytag Neptune I had taken off the front and back panels searching for the source of the leak. It was a bit confusing because water was on the inside of the machine–that was because it was trickling down the back and going in the vents in the back. Anyway, I tightened the hose and that was it. That’s an easy fix!
One thing that I learned, having never tore into that washer before is that they are easy to work on since the front and the back comes off, giving you easy access and view to whatever may be going wrong.
Repair note: Just to be safe you ought to mark which hose connects to which spigot you should mark one so you get them connected correctly:
Here I just happened to mark the right hose to keep them straight before I disconnected them
